How long does an open jar last?
Twenty-one days in the fridge, lid on. Pour a thin film of olive oil over the top between uses and the surface stays green instead of browning. Stir the dark part in.
Can I freeze the jar?
You can. Portion it into an ice cube tray, freeze it overnight, then tip the cubes into a freezer bag and thaw one at a time. Use them inside three months. After that the texture starts to go.
Can you ship me a jar?
No. There's no cart here because the jars have to stay cold the whole way, and a box sitting on a porch in July is how good pesto turns into bad pesto. Use the store locator instead. Look in the cold case, not the pasta aisle.
Which jars have nuts in them?
Classic Basil and Arugula Walnut both contain tree nuts, and the Sun-dried Tomato has smoked almonds in it. Every place we make it in handles tree nuts too, so we can't promise you a jar that never met one. If your allergy is serious, skip us.
